I started the year off with the best intentions regarding healthy living. Now that it’s officially mid-year, I am disheartened to report that I find myself way off the mark in regard to my goals. After battling health issues since February and often turning to “comfort food” when wallowing in self-pity, I am feeling laden with processed foods, chemicals, refined sugar, fats, and flour. What better time to do a healthy eating revamp!? I was originally contemplating embarking on a full-on food detox, but I’ve opted to create a simple healthy eating plan instead. I drew on a few different sources for recipes and I will be posting them as I progress through the remainder of the month, so stayed tuned! Here’s what’s on deck…
