Less Time Cookin' = More Time Partyin'!
Are you entertaining for New Year’s Eve and want to put out a delish spread for your guests, but don’t want to be tied to the kitchen? This is a problem I frequently run into when I entertain. Although I fancy myself a good cook, I really fall short in the time management realm of things and often find myself behind schedule, or having underestimated how long a particular dish would...

Cookie Party, Cookie Party, Cookie Party!
By far some of my happiest and most treasured holiday memories involve baking cookies with my Granny. Like everything that she did when it came to caring for her family, entertaining, and making events special…she went above and beyond. AGATE PASS CAFE WINTER SQUASH MASH

I took a look, and yikes and bikes…what did my little eyes behold? Why the recipe for the squash mash I was going on about! I cannot believe their generosity in sharing the recipe for this amazing...

Hooray for Hummus!
My friend Amy was recently talking about wanting to eat more garbanzo beans. Naturally, hummus came to mind. One of my favorite afternoon pick-me-up snacks is baby carrots dipped in hummus. I also love to spread some hummus on a veggie sandwich or wrap as a condiment. Garbanzo beans contain high doses of dietary fiber, iron, magnesium, and protein making them great for providing energy. Garbanzos...
